Following the exciting announcement that we have received Notice to Proceed for the Northern part of the HS2 programme, Balfour Beatty Vinci is proud to be progressing with the full detailed design and construction of this high profile, civil infrastructure programme. Balfour Beattys in-depth expertise of delivering critical major infrastructure across the world will combine and compliment VINCIs global capability in high speed rail and expertise in UK rail infrastructure projects.
Due to the COVID 19 situation we are only operating on site and mobilising our staff where it is safe to do so in line with government guidelines on social distancing. Advanced works have started with our first compounds being constructed at the south of the 90 km route with main construction commencing later this year.
We are really keen to start talking to people like you to share our enthusiasm for this groundbreaking project and roles that may interest you. Everyone on the team at BBV is passionate about the positive impact that HS2 will have on the economy, around the fantastic jobs that we will be recruiting for. If you have experience within Health Safety & Environment, then tell us more. The scale of this scheme is like no other civils infrastructure programme in the UK and therefore the opportunities to grow and develop your career will be unlimited
Of course we are going to need lots of experience on a programme of this scale which is why we would love to hear from you if you have worked on large scale linear construction programmes within a project management capacity, leading teams in a matrix environment and excellent communication skills.
Please also register with us if you are
- Looking for an apprenticeship in this area
- Unemployed and looking to get back into work (We will provide access to pre-employment training)
Worried you dont have a background in construction? We know that a diverse workforce brings innovation and challenges the status quo so, wherever possible, we will look at how your experience could be transferred into our environment from other sectors.
